The 63-year-old was recently spotted in Los Angeles when he looked fairly calm in the chaos of the royal family. It all started on Wednesday, January 8th, when the 38-year-old Suits and the 35-year-old Duke made a huge announcement to the whole world. “After many months of thought and internal discussion, we decided to initiate a transition this year to develop a progressive new role within this institution,” the couple said Instagram, “We intend to step down as senior members of the royal family to become financially independent and continue to fully support Her Majesty the Queen.”

“With your encouragement, especially in recent years, we feel ready to make this adjustment. We are now planning to balance our time between the UK and North America and continue to honor our commitment to the Queen, the Commonwealth and our patronage, ”added the famous duo. “This geographical balance enables us to raise our son’s awareness of the royal tradition he was born into, and to give our family the space to focus on the next chapter, including the launch of our new charity.”
