Emma and Liam are again at the top as the baby names of Houston in 2019

Little has changed in terms of naming Houston’s small bundles of joy in 2019, data shows.

According to the Houston Health Department, Emma and Liam took first place for newborn girls and boys for at least the third year in a row. While Isabella took second place in 2018 for girl names, it was bumped to number seven, while Noah retained his silver medal for boy names.

Olivia took second place in 2019.

For the time being 67,422 live births were registered in Houston in 2019. That is compared with 63,457 in 2018.
