A partial list of the nationalities of the victims of the bus accident in Abu Dhabi was released on Thursday evening.


According to a social worker who follows the case, “there are five women and one man.”

“Of the 19 injured, the majority are from Nepal. There are also a few people from Sri Lanka and Uganda,” he added.

Six people were killed and 19 others were wounded after one bus rammed into a truck earlier in Thursday in Abu Dhabi.

The crash that occurred in the early morning on Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Street opposite Al Raha Beach was caused by recklessness and careless behavior, said Abu Dhabi police.
